Must Have Skills:

Program Coordination/Management Required 5Years

Enterprise DataManagement Required 5 Years Experience with datagovernance frameworks and best practices. Experience in programcoordination preferably in enterprise dataprograms.

Current ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute(PMI) Required

Agile Scrum Master certification

Candidate must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years experiencemanaging large projects Required

Solidunderstanding of software development life cycle models as well asexpert knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project managementprinciples. Required 10 Years

Experience in IT Infrastructure delivery(networking physical plant vendor management siteprovisioning).



*Candidate must also be able towork onsite 23 day/week

Under the programmanager the project manager is responsible for the outcome of theassigned projects. The project manager leads the team

through the Commonwealth Standard for ProjectManagement for successful completion of the project phases:PreSelect Initiation Planning Execution and Control andCloseout.

The selected candidatewill:
Serve as a handson technical projectmanager with development staff and business groups.
Coordinate and communicate with ITD management and staff tocoordinate work tasks and resourcing.
Communicatetimelines and expectations to technical and businessstaff.
Collaborate with vendors consultants andcontractors in the execution of projects including contractmanagement and working with the procurement office(s).
Adhere to VDOT and VITA project management practices and governancerequirements; coordinate with VDOT and VITA Project ManagementOffices.
Maintain project budget plans tasks schedulesrisks and status and disseminates information to team members andcustomers as defined in the communications plan.
Ensuredocumentation of requirements and uses cases facilitate designworkshops for assigned project.
Ensure definition oftest objectives designed test plans and test cases for assignedproject.
Provide the management of project milestonesand deliverables for ontime and onbudget delivery.
Define measure and clearly communicate progress withmetrics.
Support system and application trainingefforts.

Qualifications
Required:
The candidate must have a minimum of8 years experience managing large projects and a bachelorsdegree.
Experience in IT Infrastructure delivery(networking physical plant vendor management siteprovisioning).
Experience managing large multistreamprojects.
PMP

Preferred:
Experience in both Agileand Waterfall project management..

Agile Scrum Master certification
Microsoft Office products (Word Excel Access Outlook VisioPowerPoint Project Server)
