Look no further We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teachers to work local SEN and SEMH schools for pupils aged 9-16.  

Job Duties:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
  • Attend meetings with parents, carers, and external agencies to discuss student progress and support needs
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and interventions to support student learning and development
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practises
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Training in specific interventions for students with SEN
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a school setting with students with diverse learning needs
  • Regular collaboration with colleagues and external professionals
  • Potential for some additional hours for meetings or planning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
