We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a thriving primary school in Burnley. If you have a passion for working with children and hold at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), this could be the perfect role for you
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the class teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
- Assisting pupils with their learning, providing targeted support to individuals and small groups
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children with additional learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive behaviour strategy
- Preparing classroom resources and providing administrative support to the teacher as required
- Supervising children during playtime and lunchtime
- Promoting the school’s ethos and values, fostering strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- At least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably within Key Stage 2
- A patient, supportive, and positive attitude towards children’s learning and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
