Assistant Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Winifred Holtby Academy, Hull

Working hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am to 8am  and 3:15pm to 5:15pm 

Salary: £12.17 per hour 

Contract: Permanent

Your new role

What you'll do:

Maintain and supervise the performance of cleaning staff in line with contractual KPIs. This will include training and arrangements of duty rotas and cover arrangements. To assist the cleaning supervisor with the requirements listed below. Ensure the below is maintained in supervisor’s absence ., holidays, sickness. Assist in the compliance with the site waste management procedures. Ensure that RFM procedures and practices are adhered to ., Health & Safety and COSHH Ensure that the cleanliness of the site is maintained to the required standards liaising with the cleaning supervisor on completion of quality audits. Check all equipment is clean and in good working order, reporting any faults to the cleaning supervisor. Ensure safe working methods and report all accidents and incidents as appropriate. Ensure efficient stock control, usage of materials and complete stock spreadsheets in supervisors’ absence.

What you'll need:

General cleaning experience in a commercial setting  Previous supervisory experience desirable but not essential Experience working within facilities management is desirable

The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS Check before starting in the job.
