Comex 2000 iscurrently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Civils ProjectManager to join our team inScotland.

Whatare we looking forThe CivilsProject Manager will be responsible for overseeing all fieldactivities and staff to ensure that production financial controland site activities are managed to the highest standards in allareas of delivery.

Principal dutiesinclude working with the contractors to ensure the most efficientand costeffective approach is used to deliver an outstanding levelof service whilst maintaining the highest standards of healthsafety and quality.

With assistancefrom the Management team you will also demonstrate and developfinancial controls that detail profit and loss and detailed cost tocomplete reports for each scheme.

Asa Civils Project Manager your main responsibilities willbe:
  • Regularreviews of project status ensuring all options have been consideredand evaluated to improve constructionperformance
  • Challengingthe Management team to ensure the most efficient and costeffectiveapproach is used to deliver outstandingprojects
  • PromotingNear Miss and Positive Interventionreporting
  • Strongleadership with employees on site with a key focus on drivingproduction andperformance
  • Efficientcommunication and engagement with the Managementteam
  • QualityAssurance
  • Controlof site environmentalissues
  • Developmentof strong team workingrelationships
  • Ensuringall project KPIs and SLAs areachieved
  • Uploadingdocuments to Company systems as and when necessary in line withbusinessrequirements
  • Developingaccurate programmes for weeklyupdates
  • Ensuringcompliance to procedures through weekly/monthlyreports
  • Costrisk management and early identification of problematic issuesonsite
  • Ownershipof projects costs programmes documentations and siteactivities
  • Weeklysubmission of information including timesheets material sheets andplant & sitechecklist
  • Collationof data including scheme drawings of layout sections andconstruction details asbuilddrawings
  • Livequality and NRSWA compliance audits whilst jobs are inflight
  • Postquality and financial audits to ensure a good quality is maintainedand to sign off final measures for invoicingpurposes
