  The Role

As a key member of our Business to Business (B2B) team, you will manage a range of food service operators and develop our contract caterer network throughout the UK. You will be responsible for both delivering stretching volume and margin targets and planning and executing new business plans. Your role is to build influential relationships with your customers to launch new products, drive NPD and create a pipeline of growth, whilst ensuring fantastic service. Reporting to the Customer Controller, you will be part of a dynamic B2B team that plays an active role in driving sales across the broader Mainstream sales team, which affords opportunities to interact and work closely with our Grocery Customer Managers and the Mainstream Head of Sales.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter adept at creative solution based selling skills. Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience in Food Service gained either from working for a business operating within the sector or alternatively from a business development or sales role interfacing with the major players in this channel. Alongside your robust planning and communication skills, your proficiency in stakeholder management means that you will be able to evidence past examples of building impactful winning relationships across your customer portfolio and a track record of “making things happen.” With business travel a key feature of this role, a clean full UK driving license is an essential requirement.
