Our client, a leadinginternational manufacturer, is currently recruiting for anexperienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to join theirgrowing team on a permanent contract.

As theElectrical and Instrumentation Supervisor, you will have a keyfocus on front-line maintenance and will be required to helpcoordinate the engineering departments' daily and weeklyprioritization, scheduling, and preparations of workload. Thisrequires a strong focus on reliability and preventative maintenanceto ensure problems are resolved the first time. The post holderwill be responsible for all day-to-day electrical, instrumentation,and some control systems maintenance activities associated with thepaper machine, Stock Prep plant, the winder, and its transportsystem.

Duties include:
- To take orinitiate any corrective action necessary to ensure continuity ofproduction.
- Working closely with the ProductionSuperintendents, Shift Production Managers, and E&I andMechanical colleagues as the E&I engineering lead contact forday-to-day and immediate machine problems.
- Takingevaluation of morning production meeting problems to theengineering team so that they plan and coordinate the resolution.
- All equipment contained within the PM9 machine houseexcept for those under a specialist service contract, althoughthere may be times when they will need support, direction, or someinvolvement from the Engineering team.
- Takeresponsibility for the Electrical & Instrumentation area of theengineering workshops, including the test room, PAT testing,workbenches, and the general condition of the working area in linewith 5S principles.
- Use SAP MM for BOM and spare partinformation.

What we are lookingfor:
- A Competent Electrical Engineer with a degree inElectrical Engineering or similar, or
working towards anElectrical Degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience inan E & I Technician position.
- NEBOSH safetycertificate
