Job Advert: Implementation Specialist

Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days on-site)
Contract Length: 12 months
Rate: £600-700/day (Inside IR35)

Are you an experienced Implementation Specialist with a strong background in TechnologyOne systems? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a prestigious higher education institution in London. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to take on a pivotal role in a major system implementation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison between TechnologyOne technical consultants and the internal project team.
  • Monitor project progress, support decision-making, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Resolve technical issues and report progress to the Finance & Research Managers Group.
  • Attend system design and configuration workshops, providing expert technical guidance.
  • Coordinate the development of workflows and processes across all system modules.
  • Lead data migration from the existing finance IT system (Unit4 Agresso).
  • Plan, design, and deliver training for the project team and wider user base.
  • Oversee data cleansing, preparation, and validation.
  • Create and manage test scenarios, ensuring all defects are tracked and resolved.
  • Support go-live activities and maintain project documentation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of TechnologyOne's Financials software.
  • Proven experience in at least one TechnologyOne implementation project within a higher education setting.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
