Salary: £50,000

Working pattern: Hybrid - remote, field-based along with one day per month in head office (London)

Role overview:

As a Clinical Lead at Innovate Care Group, you will play a vital role in delivering our mission and values, ensuring high-quality complex care within clients' homes. You will provide effective clinical management, support nurses and healthcare assistants (HCAs), and foster relationships with external medical and clinical agencies. Your commitment to excellence and continuous learning will help transform complex care and positively impact the lives of those we serve.


Your core objectives are:

  • To provide effective clinical management of your allocated Packages of Care, ensuring Clients receive high-quality standards of complex care within their homes.
  • To provide support to Nurses and HCAs on the packages and work collaboratively within your Area and the wider company as required and directed by your line manager.
  • To ensure all package staff have Clinical interviews completed to ascertain level of knowledge, values and safety for the Clients they are caring for.
  • To ensure all staff across your packages of care have relevant knowledge, skill and competency sign offs completed before working alone.
  • To be flexible to the needs of the clients who you provide care to, ensuring that their regular monthly visits are completed and all documentation is kept up to date.
  • To develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with all external medical and clinical agencies including CCGs, CCN, Community Pediatrician, GPs, Consultants, and other healthcare providers.
  • At all times to uphold the code of professional conduct of the NMC.
  • To operate in full compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, internal and external controls at all times, ensuring the company meets its clinical objectives and business targets.


Your skills, knowledge and experience:

  • RSCN (Paediatric Nursing)
  • RGN (Adult Nursing)
  • Diploma Level Qualification
  • Active Registration with NMC Car drive with access to own vehicle
  • 5 years post registration experience in relevant clinical area (PICU/HDU/NICU/Community Complex)
  • Sound knowledge of clinical governance and effective systems of medical management such as job planning, appraisal, and clinical assessment
  • A good knowledge of the audit process
  • Possess good knowledge base of Tracheostomy care and the associated risks and management.
  • Possess good knowledge and base of Ventilator care and management in the community.
