Project Manager - Cambridgeshire - up to £75,000 + Benefits - Ref 1802

I am currently seeking a Project Manager to join a client of mine based in Cambridgeshire. Salary up to £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

This company stands at the forefront of their market, setting global standards and benchmarks. With a dynamic team of experts on-site, they consistently deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions, not only across the nation but also to international destinations around the world.

To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans, they need to recruit for a Project Manager on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to meet customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will include managing procurement processes, sub-suppliers, and subcontractors, as well as overseeing cost and budget management. You will also handle scheduling, programme management, and both customer and subcontractor claims. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, organisational skills, and leadership to ensure project success while promoting continuous learning and improvement. Strong communication skills, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for thriving in this dynamic environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer
  • Heavy Engineering background
  • Mechanical Engineer, ability to understand technical drawings and problem solve
  • Right to work in the UK - no sponsorship available for this role

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bulk Material Handling Experience
