Job Purpose

As a Junior Estates Surveyor, you will assist in the management of our property portfolio, focusing on telecoms sites. You will support the team with lease management, property agreements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in property management or surveying, who is looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lease Management: Assist in the negotiation, renewal, and management of leases and property agreements for telecoms sites.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of the property portfolio, ensuring all lease agreements and site details are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Compliance: Ensure telecoms sites comply with planning, environmental, and health & safety regulations, and assist in resolving any related issues.
  • Cost Control: Support the management of property-related costs, including negotiating terms with landlords and ensuring timely payments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for landlords, agents, and other stakeholders, providing clear and professional communication.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on lease renewals, site performance, and other relevant metrics for senior management.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the Estates team, contributing to the department’s overall success.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in property management, surveying, or a related field. Telecoms experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Educational Qualification: A degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field. Progress towards professional qualifications (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with property management software is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
  • Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required, as site visits may be necessary.
