Responsibilities:


  • Support the Financial Controller with internal and external reporting.
  • Ensure the financial policies and procedures are constantly adhered to.
  • Internal management reporting and external statutory reporting.
  • Ensure month-end procedures and timelines are adhered to.
  • Manage the posting of the transactions for monthly, quarterly and year end purposes.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Preparation of board packs.
  • Understanding the commercial running of the businesses to report on GP margins by project. Investigating into the margins.
  • Cashflow forecasting & management.
  • Be the primary lead for the external audit.
  • Assist on ad-hoc projects within the finance team.
  • Manage the process of monthly payroll.
  • Constantly review processes and procedures.
  • Manage two direct reports.


Qualifications:


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Commercially focused
  • The ability to work under pressure and work in a very fast-paced environment
