My client is a fast growing, fast paced owner-managed Online Sales SME based in nice modern offices in Central Manchester.
Reporting as no2 in Finance to a high calibre experienced Head of Finance, you will also have daily liaison with the young entrepreneurial MD/founder and operate as part of a "switched on" energetic Management Team.
This new Finance Manager role has been created due to the ongoing business sales growth - key responsibilities will include:
- Ongoing development of internal financial/operational systems and controls to support the ongoing growth in transaction volumes, operating on a Xero platform.
- Support the Head of Finance to coach and develop 2 junior Accounts Assistants.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all day to day financial accounting routines; PL, SL, Nominal Ledger, BS reconciliations etc.
- Credit Control/ Cashflow management.
- Produce monthly management accounts with insightful business performance commentary.
- Support the Head of Finance with annual budgets and regular forecasts.
- Liaise closely with the Auditors to pull together the annual statutory accounts.
This new role will suit a hands-on technically capable PQ/recently qualified Accountant with strong Accounts production experience who enjoys and thrives on working in a busy high transactional SME business environment, having trained in either Industry/Commerce or alternatively in a General Practice supporting a range of SME clients.
This is a great opportunity for a high potential ambitious Finance professional to gain bags of experience and to develop the scope and level of your role in line with the ongoing business expansion.
My client offers a competitive salary between £50k - £60k plus Bonus/benefits package.
