Global Commercial

The Global Commercial Finance Team plays a critical role in supporting a company's financial and strategic objectives by working at the intersection of Finance, Media services, and media pricing on a global scale.

The Role

The candidate will report to the Associate Director, Global Commercial. Working as part of the Global Commercial and Finance team, you will support the Associate Director, Global Commercial with their role of partnering with the Managing Partner responsible for the overall Client relationship through reporting, financial and commercial analysis, and commercial operations.

As a member of the broader Commercial team, which includes the commercial, audit, compliance, and legal functions, the Senior Analyst, Commercial Global role involves supporting the entire team by keeping key market data up to date. Additionally, there may be times when the audit or legal teams need assistance with simple tasks..

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experience Senior Analyst, Commercial Global who will play an instrumental role in further ensuring accurate and timely reportings for client and agency stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with commercial and finance colleagues across various markets.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of successfully analysing a P&L, consolidating data from various sources. They will demonstrate knowledge of financial reporting tools and excel functions as well as developing reporting templates.

Essential Criteria

• Experience building financial reports
• Advanced experience using Excel (unpivoting data bases, power pivot, power query, charts and graphs, pivot tables, formulas)
• Proactive approach to expanding knowledge and capabilities
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn about the media industry to ensure full understanding of required tasks.
  • Possess a general understanding of the economic and industry specific implications and developments for Mindshare and our clients.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail:
  • Analytically minded with an aptitude for handling large data sets in order to identify trends and actionable insights
  • Ability to process and, most of all, interpret financial data in support of commercial decisions.
  • Possess a natural attention to detail and ability to digest information from a wide variety of sources.
  • Open-minded, able to develop and assess different options and solutions.
• Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a wider, cross-capability team
• Willingness to help with all tasks required to be completed

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire process of collecting data from all markets, conducting variance analysis, and making necessary corrections or advising markets on required adjustments.
• Consolidate finalized market reports, aggregating financial data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive view for each market
• Ensure an accurate and complete summary of all markets is available.
• Maintain an accurate and reliable key contact list for the markets at all times
• Collect and consolidate ad hoc client reporting as per contract requirements
• Coordinate data collection and reporting from markets, facilitating communication to ensure timely and consistent data collection.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with market contacts, serving as the primary point of contact for markets and commercial team members for client reports.
• Key contact list for the markets to be maintained to ensure is accurate at and reliable at all times.
• Ensure annual FX rates are prepared, shared, and updated in client reports
• Complete client reporting and analyze financial KPIs to extract insights and provide recommendations for future reports.
• Effectively manage your workload, and submit deliverables to your manager within deadlines
