Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our Linux-based systems and servers, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role is integral to an IT infrastructure team and will play a significant role in maintaining trading operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Redhat, Centos, or Rocky Linux systems.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, Powershell, shell or any alternatives.
  • Manage cloud-based systems in AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • Manage monitoring systems such as SolarWinds / Nagios.
  • Maintain webserver technologies including nginx, Nodejs, JavaScript, Python Tomcat.
  • Handle advanced network tasks including VLAN’s, routing, Load balancing, and Multicast systems.
  • Proficiency with virtualisation software using VMware and Proxmox.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, bash, or shell).
  • Experience with webserver technologies (nginx, NodeJS, JavaScript, python tomcat).
  • Advanced network experience (VLAN’s, routing, load balancing, multicast).
  • Proficiency with virtualization software (VMware and Proxmox).
