IT/ Network Field Engineer - 3 month contract - Retail

£300 - £380 a day outside IR35

North of England


We are seeking 2 skilled IT/Telecoms Field Engineers to install and swap out routers, configure SIP phones, and install switches at our retail stores one based in the North and one in the South of England.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and replace routers.
  • Set up and configure SIP phones.
  • Install and configure network switches.


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of router and switch installation and configuration.
  • Experience with SIP phone setup.
  • Basic understanding of network routing, VLANs, and IP addressing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and independent work ability.
  • Previous similar field technician experience, preferably in a retail setting.


Additional Information:

  • Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours if needed.
