You will be joining at a very exciting time, after years of exponential growth. Since our launch in 2001 we have grown to over 170 employees in the UK and approx. 700 employees across the eCapital group with offices in US, Canada as well as the UK.


The role

Proactively manage the client relationship “from cradle to grave” across a mixed portfolio of funding lines.


Mentor and support the team credit controller: Leading by example/ensuring we deliver an excellent operational service to e-Capitals Clients within the allocated portfolios.


Liaise with Sales Support and BDM regarding completion of take on formalities.


Dealing with client queries in a timely and clearly defined manor. Handling complaints and proactively managing the client relationship in anticipating future needs.


MI Reporting. Drive receipt of financial information in accordance with the facility conditions.


Attend monthly portfolio review meetings in attendance with the appropriate manager.


Sales Ledger Reviews, to include a review and understanding of high exposures, risk, litigation actions etc.


Credit Control – Ensure your credit controller and team performs the expected levels of calls as outlined in your team/unit objectives. If required, undertake credit control to ensure levels are met. Monitor verifications and ensure responses are received, reviewed and targeting plans are generated as required.


Risk events – You will be required to identify and communicate any risk events within your portfolio and to act swiftly and assertively to address any issues that may impact upon our book debt security in line with your line manager.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience within the Invoice Finance Industry
  • Previous experience working in credit control
  • Previous experience with mentoring and managing credit controllers would be preferred
  • Although not essential, English and Maths at grade A-C/9-4 would be preferred
  • Commercially driven, customer centric with practical and intuitive risk awareness
  • Ability to undertake numerical analysis and financial interpretation
