About the Team

You will join the Operations Department responsible for all online delivery and service contracts for premier customers whilst providing excellent customer service of all projects from site surveys to multiple phase/week installations with both in house engineers and sub contract engineers.


About the Job

The role of the Technical Project Manager to be a leader within the Operations Department. He/she are the strongest technical figure head within the team whilst liaising with thee Engineering Team too to manage the delivery of all projects within the business and execute the company core values at all times.

Manage projects with an administrative team to a high standard, excellent customer service, quality on site and protection of margins. As an estimate the team have 30 projects per month with several of these being large 100k plus contracts

You will ensure service contract standards and SLA are adhered to and the service manager is covering all logs. Manage all engineers in house and external and the appropriate insurances, vehicles and PPE when required.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage margins/budgets of each project

• Ensure quality of equipment, cables, quotes and engineers adhere to company standards.

• Alongside the administrators organise and deliver all projects to standard.

• Technical specification of all jobs, cables schedules and drawings where required.

• Overall management of service contracts alongside a designated engineer

• Demonstrate pro-active behaviour in driving repeat business through quality work and customer delight.


Candidate Requirements

• 3 years experience in Project Management with Audio Visual, preferrable video conferencing systems or similar.

• Experience of Audio Visual drawings and able to work out if they are feasible.

• Able to manage 5 - 10 projects with multiple rooms for different clients at any one time.

• Experience and passion for the Audio Visual sector and staying up to date with the latest products on the market.

• Some prior experience working alongside AV engineers.

• Know how to communicate with customers either over phone, email or onsite.

• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of all company products, services and business processes as well as having a high level of technical knowledge to deliver solutions accurately.

• Display a high technical understanding of all the Companies products and services.

• Comfortable attending supplier and vendor training sessions to ensure up to date on all technology and products.

• Where required become certified on supplier/manufacturer accreditations to bolster the Companies standing within that supplier/manufacturer.

• Identify GAPs in knowledge and work with Managing Director to plug these gaps.
