  • Manage consulting engagements in the renewable energy sector.
  • Assemble and lead project teams delivering on client engagements and ensure high quality work products and the effective use of resources.
  • Actively team with colleagues in other offices, regions, and practices to identify and pursue opportunities and generate revenue.
  • Know and help manage the regional business by effectively using sales data, managing cost of sales for projects, and assessing regional financial results.
  • Accountable to ensure success is recognised, but that trends of underperformance within the team and reporting line are formally addressed.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverables and for other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to renewable energy market thought leadership, internal research, and development of intellectual property.
  • Help to formulate company strategy for targeting/approaching market segments and other growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for ensuring that key regional management reporting data for sales, contracts, and project costs is available in a timely fashion.

Management responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership by setting, communicating and modelling high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of personal credibility and work ethic management with staff and demonstrating consistent sound judgment.
  • Strong negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to motivate, persuade and build consensus.
  • Personally, and actively, involved in sourcing, selecting, developing and training new talent in conjunction with the other business leaders.
  • Focused on the professional development of self and that of the junior staff.

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, renewable energy technology or related discipline, else demonstrable capabilities at this level.
  • Extensive experience in the Renewable / Wind / Offshore Wind energy business (geoscience/environmental surveying, permitting, safety, project development, construction, asset management, etc.).
