About You: For the role of Data Protection M&A Lead, you should be a driven professional with extensive experience in project management, especially in the M&A domain. You excel at identifying and communicating risks, ensuring they are addressed by appropriate stakeholders. Your natural ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders will be key in transforming and overseeing the data protection acquisition program. You will guide acquired businesses smoothly into their business-as-usual operations while strengthening overall privacy practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Group Data Protection Officer to develop and execute a structured Data Protection M&A workstream.
  • Provide transparency on risks through effective program governance and ensure adherence to relevant policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with acquired businesses to understand their operations and products from a privacy perspective.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate seamless transitions to business-as-usual operations.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong program management expertise with a track record of executing projects within set timelines.
  • Solid knowledge of UK and EU data protection legislation and regulations.
  • Highly autonomous with the ability to drive initiatives proactively.
