IT Project Manager required for an organisation progressing through a system transformation programme. A key role for the business as they progress through a introducing new systems and software across the organisation; large-scale project that will require a confident senior-level Project Manager that is comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation.


Previous experience working in a fast-paced project management role, preferably within the Utilities sector. Knowledge of delivering software development projects is key (Development, configuration & roll-out). Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to manage internal & external resources are critical for this role.


Role overview:


  • Ensure projects (IT & Change) meet the business requirements and IT projects deliver expected benefits.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to scope the deliverables, whilst managing business expectations in the projects & proposals.
  • Be proactive in ensuring that IT project costs are appropriate for the business and are covered in line with budget.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the project, in terms of escalation and support to the business, throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor & report on project progress, provide regular updates with the business during the project lifecycle.


Salary


The salary/package for this position is up to 70k per annum depending on experience, plus excellent benefits & flexible working.
