Marketing Executive


We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team and help us through the next phase of growth. In this fast-paced and autonomous role, you will identify and execute new marketing opportunities to reach new customers and enhance brand visibility across various marketing channels.

What You'll be doing


As a Marketing Executive, you will work across a number of marketing activities to grow customer acquisition and increase retention through our direct marketing channels. This includes website management, SEO optimisation, social media and other prospecting activities. You will also support the management of communication campaigns to existing customers and work closely with our Partnerships team to increase engagement across our vast broker panel.



Key Responsibilities


  • Grow audience engagement across multiple social media channels
  • Develop a targeted content strategy and craft captivating social media posts and content that resonate with our target audience and stand out from the rest
  • Develop and execute technical SEO strategies, focusing on content and site architecture to improve organic search rankings and drive clicks to the website
  • Edit and publish SEO-friendly content on our website using a content management system
  • Analyse data to identify gaps within our backlink profiles and explore opportunities to fill these gaps with Digital PR campaigns
  • Analyse website performance using Google Analytics, SEMRush, or SEO Monitor.
  • Execute omnichannel marketing campaigns (email, social media, SMS, etc.) targeting prospective customers, existing customers, and our broker panel
  • Organise events to connect with brokers and customers, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
  • Report on and analyse campaign performance
  • Manage and research relevant industry awards to grow the mcl finance brand


Who we’re looking for


  • 1+ years of experience in an in-house marketing team or agency.
  • Core understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media.
  • Highly proactive and willing to learn independently.
  • Ability to multitask in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal).
