  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, patient management, and NHS operational processes.
  • Proven experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of EPR systems, specifically within the Altera/Allscripts environment.
  • Familiarity with NHS Digital standards, including data governance, clinical safety, and information security regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues in a clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clinical teams, IT staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with NHS Trusts or healthcare organizations in an EPR configuration role.
  • Knowledge of scripting or technical skills related to EPR customization, reporting, or data extraction.
  • Experience with other healthcare systems and technologies commonly integrated with Altera/Allscripts EPR, such as PACS, pharmacy systems, or health information exchanges (HIE).
