The London office of a global architectural practice has an exciting opening for an innovative Director of New Business – to take responsibility for work winning, establishing and building relationships across sectors using your industry knowledge and connections.
The role will see you lead the practices new business component. The focus should be on business engagement in the field of architecture, real estate, investment and construction management and is dedicated to revenue generation and growing and nurturing the network of clients and partners. Prior experience working with UK’s construction companies is essential.
You will need to display proven prior experience of business development, you will apply this knowledge to the role of Regional Director of Business Development where you’ll oversee the day-to-day sales and marketing of the practice primarily, but potentially, based on your profile and interest, could be broadened to missions in Northern Europe and other EMEA markets.? This role will be pivotal in expanding their client base, increasing market presence, and driving the company's financial growth.?You will be expected to work independently to identify and secure new opportunities on behalf of the business in accordance with the regional business plan.
This globally and nationally renowned practice would like to receive candidates who are driven to quest for very best and effective marketing and new business who can ideally converse in both English and French. Key responsibilities
• Creating, maintaining and developing our network of relationships with key clients and organizations, ensuring a steady flow of incoming opportunities
• Be the link between the Client and Project Teams to ensure the collaborations are successful to champion design and drive quality across the practice.
• Together with Senior Management and communication team set and execute the marketing strategy
Skills and experience
• A natural networker, with business flair and an entrepreneurial spirit.??
• French, spoken and written an advantage.
• Comfortable with frequent regional and international travel
• Demonstrable history of securing large-scale projects and achieving sales targets.?
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.?
• Ability to uncover key insights through ongoing conversations, discussions and Q&A to guide prospects to an understanding of how the Practice offering will benefit their business.
