The Junior Digital Designer will be joining a driven and highly collaborative team. Our team vision is to create seamless user experiences that are meaningful, accessible and desirable. We do this by focusing on user insights backed by data to ensure we improve our users’ experiences across all touch points. As a Junior Digital Designer, you will be responsible for designing, editing, uploading and scheduling content for multiple channels – including our websites, apps and emails – and all our fascias, from Sport to Luxury. The successful candidate will be keen to learn, want to strive for success and have a desire to question everything. An eye for detail coupled with a creative flair is a must for this role.
- Regularly updating content on our websites and apps via CMS.
- Creating and/or resizing of artwork and animations for web and other channels, such as apps and email.
- Working collaboratively with the other digital designers, in a fast-paced environment to achieve results and meet deadlines
- Adopt a data driven design approach that thrives on validation of key decisions and rationale
- Share a strong understanding of digital design best practices.
- Work closely to our design system guidelines in Figma to ensure assets are consistent as established by the product design team.
- A collaborative designer who has a solid track record of using their initiative in order to achieve results
- A motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in tools such as Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of mobile design and device optimisation.
- Experience in eCommerce platforms and CMS systems such as Amplience would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A pro-active attitude in demonstrating ways to constantly improve customer experience.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of digital design best practices
- Portfolio demonstrating clean and professional web/mobile/digital design.
We offer a 4-1 flexible working pattern, with 1 day from home each week. Our offices are modern and open plan, with free parking, an on-site restaurant, and one of our Everlast gyms down the road where we offer our colleagues £10 memberships. CEO Sessions – Once a quarter we offer 20 employees the opportunity to attend our “CEO Sessions” ran by our CEO and leadership team. Employees have the chance to connect, network and submit questions around specific topics such as our Sports or Luxury business.
Retail Reconnect – In order to build the planets most admired and compelling brand ecosystem, all employees must understand our business, product and customers. Each financial year, Head Office employees will gain insights by spending two days in one of our stores or the Warehouse. The goal is to learn how the work you do impacts our teams on the frontline, and to bring ideas back to the office which will improve how we work.

What’s next?
Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
