THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are working exclusively with a private equity-backed media production business on a Finance Director position, headquartered in London. client provides a range of innovative media, including bespoke animation, virtual & augmented reality, and interactive experiences for corporate clients ranging from FTSE listen organisations to innovative startups.. This will be a highly strategic role, partnering the Group CFO and CEO and external senior stakeholders on the most commercial projects, while also taking ownership of the finance function.



THE ROLE:

  • Lead the development and execution of the financial strategy for the Company, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the Group. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure financial systems and processes are tailored to the business as it grows to enhance efficiency and support the Company's growth objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Company and Group level on finance-related matters, ensuring clear communication regarding financial performance, risks, and opportunities. This includes leading the monthly performance reviews of the business to the Group executive team.
  • Collaborate with the core leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including the development of new products and revenue streams
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other operational leaders, contributing to key business decisions, supporting growth initiatives and driving performance improvements.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This includes overseeing audits and financial controls.


THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 6+ years PQE
  • Experience working in an investor-backed environment beneficial
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Strategic mindset with experience driving financial performance and business growth
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate with senior stakeholder (internal & external)
