We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Engineer to join my client, a market leader in the entertainment industry. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the installation, relocation, and maintenance of various electronic and IT equipment across our UK venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the seamless installation and management of data cabling to support our network infrastructure (ideally Cat6a knowledge).
- Set up and maintain IT equipment within communication rooms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Efficiently handle the setup and relocation of various electronic machines, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Install and relocate electronic signage to enhance customer engagement and communication within our venues.
- Deploy and manage audio-visual equipment to deliver exceptional entertainment experiences.
- Manage the setup and relocation of non-electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of data cabling and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with AV equipment and electronic signage installation.
- Experience with the setup and relocation of electronic and non-electronic equipment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
