Your Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform and be responsible for deploying and managing cloud services, designing cloud architecture, and implementing security and compliance measures. You will play a key role in ensuring our cloud infrastructure is efficient, scalable, and secure.

Responsibilities | What You Will Be Doing
- Design and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements, emphasizing scalability, high availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Automate the deployment of cloud services using terraform.
- Configure and manage compute, storage, networking, and database services on GCP.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
- Deploying and managing docker containers, ensuring their stability and uptime.
- Monitor cloud system performance and availability using tools like Google, Cloud Monitoring and Stackdriver.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the smooth functioning of applications.
Requirements ️
Must Have’s
- Strong knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have’s
- GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with JIRA.
- Experience working with graphics and memory intense instances on the cloud.
