About The Role


The Finance Administrator will be responsible for processing bills into Xero and matching invoices to POs. You will work closely with the Finance Assistant and Financial Accountant to maintain a high level of accuracy. This is a highly administrative role and requires a detail oriented approach.


This is a short-term role to cover a period of leave within the Finance team. The 13 hours per week will be split across Mon-Wed, and we can be flexible about how this is split.


Day to Day Responsibilities


  • Preparation of bills in Xero to a high standard of accuracy
  • Matching bills against purchase orders and raising any discrepancies for further investigation within the team
  • Monitoring the inbox in coordination with the Finance Assistant
  • Other related tasks as requested by the team, e.g. calling suppliers to confirm bank details and preparation of statements.

We’re looking for someone with:


  • Previous experience within a finance department, ideally in an administrative or accounts payable role
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in flagging issues and inaccuracies
  • Experience using Xero is essential
  • Experience using Unleashed is helpful but not required
  • Retail sector experience desirable but not essential
