  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, maintaining high standards of communication and engagement.

4. Employer Branding

  • Develop and promote our employer brand to establish the company as an employer of choice within the genomics and biotech sectors.
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to create content, attend events, and build a presence on key platforms that reach target audiences.
  • Ensure the company’s values, culture, and mission are represented authentically in all candidate interactions and recruitment materials.

5. Recruitment Operations and Technology

  • Implement and optimise applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
  • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track recruitment KPIs, using data insights to drive continuous improvement.

6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

  • Develop strategies to enhance diversity within the organisation, ensuring an inclusive and representative recruitment process.
  • Promote inclusive hiring practices, training hiring managers and the talent team on DEI best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a biotech, life sciences, or technology-focused organisation.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the biotech, genomics, or healthcare sectors, including the talent landscape and key roles within these industries.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading, developing, and scaling recruitment teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to align recruitment strategies with business goals and drive long-term talent acquisition success.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with experience in using metrics and data to drive recruitment decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities; skilled at influencing stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Innovation: Demonstrated creativity and ability to think outside the box to attract hard-to-find talent and build an engaging employer brand.
