As our Health and Safety Area Manager you will:
Conduct site audits and ensure implementation of action plans.
- Conduct regular premise audits.
- Provide comprehensive reports and statistics to senior management.
- Ensure sites are compliant with statutory health, safety, and welfare obligations.
- Proactively work with managers to establish safe systems of work.
- Communicate health and safety information effectively across the organisation.
- Monitor good practices in fire safety are being met including accident prevention initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
Additional Requirements:
Strong IT skills (Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge) - demonstrating the ability to extract data and use it.
Good commercial awareness and understanding of the impact of costs.
Knowledge of Systems Thinking' principles and their implementation.
Ability to write and communicate comprehensive health and safety reports.
