CULTED is a Gen-Z multimedia and cross platform entertainment company which launched mid 2019. We produce and publish content daily, at the speed of social media. This covers the latest news and trends from Gen-Z’s forward thinking perspective on fashion, sneakers, beauty, art, music, and youth culture. Our omnichannel approach, combined with the captivating content we produce, have helped us amass a fast-growing international audience of over 1.8million users. We are now looking for a skilled and talented London based Content Producer (Writer) to join our team on a full-time basis.


CORE TASKS AND DUTIES:

  • Generate cross-platform content ideas in both long and short-form (including website, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
  • Pitch, write, and publish both newsworthy and timeless content on a daily basis
  • Be aware of current news, events, and individuals within fashion, music, entertainment, culture, etc. and pitch content around each when appropriate
  • Work collaboratively within the rest of the editorial team, ensuring content is consistent across channels
  • Manage and maintain PR and talent relationships
  • Develop and ensure the consistency of content franchises across channels
  • Maintain an awareness of partnerships and ongoing projects, monitoring and supporting post-production until asset delivery
  • Work with Content Managers to ensure content run smoothly according to timelines agreed
  • Ensure a high level of quality is maintained at all times


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Will have 1+ years of experience in a similar role - experience in Media is preferred
  • Will have a portfolio of writing experience which aligns with Culted’s Editorial branding
  • Will possess strong awareness of the fashion industry and it’s trends
  • Will possess strong awareness of both popular and emerging brands and creatives
  • Will have a refined taste for high quality content
  • Will have thorough understanding of all current social media platforms, especially of interest to Gen-Z such as TikTok, and understanding of how to use these social platforms for commercial purposes
  • Will have a creative vision which is malleable to CULTED’s image and clients’ needs
  • Will have a positive and solution-first attitude
  • Has professional mannerisms to deal with talent, clients, vendors and contractors
  • A proven record of writing for commercial purposes
  • Must be able to flex creatively and assist other team members, as needed
  • Ability to work collaboratively and can take feedback and notes on their concepts and content
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple things simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills while working within tight deadlines
  • Approaching roadblocks with a problem solving attitude with a constant drive to deliver at the highest level


SKILLS:

  • Ability to operate Wordpress, TikTok, and Instagram
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Able to take initiative and pitch ideas
  • Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment under high pressure and deliver content to extremely tight deadlines
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, written and spoken
  • Able to take initiative and pitch other ideas
  • Strong skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, Premiere Pro, etc.



This role will be based full time from CULTED’s office. You will be required to attend productions, events and occasional work trips.
