Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly organized Chief of Staff to support the Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This pivotal role acts as a trusted advisor to the CTO, providing operational, strategic, and administrative support while driving key initiatives across the global technology organization. The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, alignment, and success of the CTO's agenda and the broader technology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support and Advisory:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and confidant to the CTO, providing insights and recommendations on key decisions and initiatives.
- Partner with the CTO to define and execute strategic priorities, aligning the technology organization’s goals with the company’s overall objectives.
- Operational Oversight:
- Coordinate and manage the CTO’s day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
- Drive execution of critical projects and initiatives, tracking progress, identifying roadblocks, and facilitating solutions.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into the performance and effectiveness of the technology organization.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the CTO and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments and regions.
- Facilitate leadership team meetings, including setting agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-through on commitments.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across the global technology team.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Draft and review high-impact communications, presentations, and reports for the CTO, including Board updates and internal announcements.
- Represent the CTO in meetings and engagements as required, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with strategic goals.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, partners, and stakeholders across the organization.
- Process Improvement and Special Projects:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology organization.
- Lead special projects and initiatives as directed by the CTO, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights to inform strategy and innovation efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic roles such as management consulting, corporate strategy, or operational leadership, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
- Strong understanding of technology, innovation, and digital transformation trends.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of successfully influencing and collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
