Project Manager - Defence, NEC4


The location of the role is Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth (mostly remote - occasional site presence needed).

The duration of the contract is 12 months.

The pay rate on offer is £75 - £80 per hour.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of schedule, scope, contractual, financial and risk management functions.
  • Assist the technical and project team in development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work packages.
  • Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control of work packages.
  • Manage input to cost and budget monitoring.
  • Document & Deliverable management
  • Manage the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues.


Key skills and experience

  • Experienced project manager
  • Experience working with NEC4 contracts highly desirable
  • Experience in a heavy civil engineering environment.
  • Experience in delivery of Nuclear safety implicated structures, equipment or services would be beneficial


Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree.
  • APM project management qualification (or equivalent).
  • NEC4 Accredited Project Manager – desired
