Job Title: Project Accountant

Location: Plymouth

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Salary: Up to £42,500 + Excellent Benefits


Overview: Robert Half is partnering with a large business to recruit a Project Accountant. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial part in providing accurate and timely financial information and advice to stakeholders. This support will enable effective financial control, maximising value for money, cash flow, and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Produce and analyse accounts according to the monthly timetable, ensuring data integrity and maintaining comprehensive audit trails for both internal and external audits.
  • Project Status Packs: Collaborate with Project Teams to produce monthly Project Status Packs for management reviews, with quarterly preparation for Senior Management reviews.
  • Customer Invoicing: Raise customer invoices accurately and promptly, in line with contract terms and conditions, and management information requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Finalist
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide financial advice and information effectively.
