Smyth & Co. is excited to presenta fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef at a renowned all-day dining establishment in Watford. Our clients restaurant is celebrated for its modern British cuisine, emphasizing the use of sustainable and seasonal ingredients to create exceptional dishes. This Restaurant is located in an amazing luxury site, set on beautiful English grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service throughout the day.
- Develop and execute a menu that highlights modern British cuisine with a focus on sustainable and seasonal ingredients.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies to ensure the freshest ingredients are always available.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source the best local and seasonal produce.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of modern British cuisine and a passion for sustainable and seasonal cooking.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Creative flair and a commitment to culinary excellence.
