PureFuel have partnered with a design firm, who have a newly created role for a Lead Sustainability Consultant to join their team. They are an established business, with a global reputation and an award-winning portfolio of varied projects.


As the Lead Sustainability Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of transforming the future of sustainable building design and architecture. With your expertise, you'll lead innovative projects that set new standards in eco-friendly construction. Your client-facing role will empower you to implement cutting-edge sustainability solutions, making a tangible impact on the planet.


Responsibilities include:

Projects

  • Set sustainability targets for client projects and support designers in achieving these
  • Analysis of whole life carbon, thermal performance etc.
  • Collecting data and monitoring project performance through all project stages from initial brief through to implementation/construction
  • Support the project teams in advocating sustainable design solutions
  • Research on sustainable materials and systems
  • Post-occupancy studies on completed projects

Internal

  • Develop and implement the company’s internal sustainability vision & strategy
  • Social sustainability
  • Research & development
  • Staff training and education on sustainability topics
  • Setting and achieving the company’s sustainability commitments


Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within the architecture/building design industry
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Must have experience with LEED and BREEAM
  • Strong experience in passive design principles, circular economy, carbon calculations
  • Client-facing experience
