Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking a Client Onboarding Team Leader to join one of our prominent Law firm customers for a Permanent position, starting ASAP. Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Birmingham, Sheffield or Manchester offices.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of advisers, overseeing matters, conducting due diligence, and conflict checks. You’ll ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, develop strong partnerships and coordination with fee earners, partners, and the Group Counsel Team.
- Must have A minimum of 2 years experience in service delivery and operational management, managing high volumes of work through a fast-moving pipeline and meeting speed, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong prior client and matter onboarding experience.
- Strong operational management experience in leading a high-volume complex area to meet quality, speed and regulatory objectives.
- Good knowledge of legal and regulatory rules impacting Law firms when onboarding and monitoring clients, including conflict checking, file opening, CDD and AML
- Experience in implementing complex operational change programmes
- Knowledge of the SRA handbook and conflict / AML requirements.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy.
- Influencing skills and prior management/stakeholder engagement experience
- Demonstrate ability to motivate, coach, and develop people, be committed to quality, possess strong communication skills, and be resilient under pressure.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
