Procurement Coordinator

BTS are currently supporting a key Client who is at the forefront of engineering and technology. They specialise in delivering substantial global projects with a key focus on the energy transition sectors. Providing expertise throughout the project lifecycle, offering services including technology, design engineering, construction, commissioning, operations & maintenance.


About the Role:

We are seeking a Procurement/Administrative Coordinator to join our Client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth invoicing processes. You will play a key role in supporting our procurement operations, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and analyse procurement needs.
  • Request quotes and negotiate with suppliers for non-strategic purchases.
  • Register and onboard new suppliers into our system.
  • Issue and track purchase orders, including handling amendments when needed.
  • Enter data into our purchasing management systems and tools, including ERP.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment and invoicing.
  • Monitor and manage the approval flow of orders and invoices.
  • Support the performance of our invoicing processes in collaboration with our global service teams.
  • Assist in resolving disputes related to procurement with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement procedures and processes.
  • Help develop performance indicators (KPIs) and produce reports on procurement activity.


Qualifications:

  • Entry-level background in procurement or administration.
  • Technical diploma or relevant degree.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
