Are you a skilled Project Manager with a passion for High-Performance Computing (HPC)?


Our client is at the forefront of technology and innovation. We specialize in delivering cutting-edge solutions in high performance computing (HPC) to clients across various industries including public sector, defence, manufacturing and commercial. They are seeking a dynamic HPC Project Manager to lead and deliver complex HPC projects across the UK&I.


As a Project Manager in their HPC division, you will lead complex projects that design and implement computing solutions capable of performing at the highest levels. You will manage every aspect of project delivery from conception through to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within time, budget, and quality constraints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and close projects that deliver high performance computing solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.


Essential Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Must have active SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
  • Project Management: PRINCE2 certification required.
  • HPC Exposure: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a high-performance computing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management.
