About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a prestigious family-owned business near Exeter, we are seeking a talented Custom Marine Design Engineer. This unique role offers the chance to work on bespoke boat and yacht designs, turning dreams into reality for discerning customers. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values creativity, precision, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Boat and Yacht Design: Utilise your skills with Adobe Suite and AutoCAD to create stunning, custom designs for high-end boats and yachts.
- Sheet Metal Fabrication Hands-on: Bring your fabricating experience to the table, ensuring designs are practical and can be effectively brought to life.
- Client Interaction: Engage directly with customers, understanding their vision and translating it into detailed designs and drawings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all projects meet the highest standards and are delivered on time.
- Structural and Feature Design: Produce detailed designs around the structure, features, and options for each project.

Requirements
- Proven experience with Adobe Suite and AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with fabrications and fabricating.
- Marine engineering experience.
- Must be able to work in the office 5 days a week near Exeter.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
