Our company purpose is to contribute to a responsible and sustainable economy by financing and advising clients according to the highest ethical standards.
Our employer promise is built around three pillars:
• Being a great place to work
• Committed to sustainability and having a positive impact
• Being dedicated to the development of our people
Business area
Created in 2009, CIB Consulting & Transformation (CIBC&T) is an in-house management consultancy with a strong presence in EMEA (~100 consultants in Paris, Lisbon, and London) and a global reach thanks to an integrated network in APAC & Americas (~100 consultants).
The team works on strategic initiatives defined by CIB Senior Management. It has a strong track-record with 600+ projects accomplished to date. CIBC&T is a competitive alternative to leading, external consulting firms, covering the full consulting value chain: from framing, diagnosis, and delivery of actionable recommendations, to designing effective implementation and enabling change.
The team also houses the Smart-Sourcing Practice which provides advisory and end-to-end project services on nearshoring and offshoring projects.
CIBC&T team members are part of a dynamic and international environment with diverse profiles, from banking and consulting backgrounds: 20+ nationalities, 45% women, ~50% ex-external consultants from consultancies.
Our team members have a real impact on the development of CIB, working directly with Senior Management on high stakes initiatives, from Corporate Banking, Global Markets and Securities Services to Human Resources, IT, Operations and more and across a wide range of topics:
- Enhance operational performance
- Enable business development opportunities
- Position digital trends into business lines and functions
- Define and anchor the Bank's sustainable ambition
- Build cross shoring capabilities
- Meet regulatory challenges with technology
- Structure large transformations and anchor change
At BNP Paribas CIB Consulting & Transformation, we aim to:
- Grow talent: we invest in growing people's banking and consulting skills through training and hands-on coaching during projects
- Shaping ideas: we turn ideas into actionable solutions for our clients
- Build tomorrow: by playing our part in the Bank's transformative projects, we are shaping the future of the business
You never stop growing and developing : You have the opportunity to engage with a large variety of profiles and have access to various learning paths (regular training on consulting skills and CIB activities), ensuring your continuous development and growth. You will proactively contribute managing and developing team members on projects, as well as to transversal activities (training, recruitment, etc.), leveraging on your entrepreneurial spirit.
You guarantee impactful project content : You are in the driving seat towards project success by framing and managing projects, connecting the dots with other projects and previous experiences, proposing solutions to clients and teams, and securing high quality deliverables with actionable recommendations to CIB Senior Management. You are at the core of transformation and further development of CIB through managing a wide range of projects. You are also able to observe and measure the impact of your work.
You build trusted relationships with clients : You establish collaborative and hands-on working relationships with our clients (Businesses and Functions). You manage clients and other project stakeholders effectively, demonstrating emotional and situational intelligence. By doing so, you contribute to the growth of the CIBC&T client franchise.
You are part of a team that positions its people and their development at the core : We have great track record in recruiting and retaining highly talented individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds. Success in our job is key, but team dynamics and work environment are also critical elements. We value a young manager who dedicate time to boosting strong relationships within the team and building inspiring content.
Your future
Joining our team represents an excellent opportunity to start a career in a leading international bank. As a member of CIBC&T, not only will you expand your knowledge and expertise on CIB activities, but you will also build and develop your network within the Group.
We are proud of our long-standing relationships with our Alumni network, offering concrete examples of 'life-after CIBC&T'. Our strong Alumni network also proves to be a career accelerator.
Requirements
This job is for you if you have:
- A Master's degree from a top-tier institution, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in top-tier Consulting firms
- Ability to inspire, manage, and train team members
- High adaptability in changing environments, a capacity to bring value and propose meaningful solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, while developing legitimacy to challenge and bring new ideas with the utmost humility

For example, we are committed to Net Zero in all of our financing and investment portfolios by 2050. By 2030, 80% of our energy production financing will be low carbon.
But impact for us means more than climate. It means empowering our people every day. Everyone gets four volunteering days each year - in 2023, we achieved over 18,000 hours of volunteering across the UK and reaching over 4,500 young people.
3. We believe in our people
We support our people to develop skills to adapt to the ever-evolving world of work and to prepare for the jobs of today and tomorrow. We do this through a comprehensive training offering, talent programmes, mentoring, career days and inhouse career tools.
We are proud of the number of our people who progress and secure new roles internally. In fact, in 2023, nearly half of our positions in UK CIB were filled internally.
Investing in our people also means we have a collaborative and inclusive culture:
• Direct feedback from our people shows that our internal culture sets us apart from our industry peers.
• Each year, nearly 30,000 employees globally are involved in professional networks that play an active role in promoting Diversity and Inclusion within the Group. These include our:
Pride Network, Ability Network (which supports disabled employees), MixCity (gender equality network), Women in Global Markets, Women in Global Banking, Women in IT, Diversity Equity & Inclusion in Technology, Early Careers Network, Multicultural Network and Parents & Carers Network.
Equal opportunities
BNP Paribas is committed to providing a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity without regard to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
Adjustments
We don't want anyone to be disadvantaged in our recruitment processes, so if you have a disability or health condition which may mean that you'd benefit from some adjustments or additional support, please let us know as early in the process as possible.
