The firm:

This UK Top 40 Law firm has an excellent presence in Birmingham, servicing local businesses and individuals throughout the Midlands, helping to shape the residential property scene throughout the region. The firm has achieved an excellent reputation for their quality of work which in turn attracts some the region’s best Lawyers allowing for market lead in most practice areas. The firm has taken a flexible approach to working styles and most people within the firm are working from home two days a minimum.

The team:

The Residential Development team in Birmingham leads the way within this space working with all ten of the top ten house-builders in England. The team in Birmingham is made up of five Partners, one Legal Director and a Senior Associate.

The opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity to join a well established and senior team whereby you will be given the right mix of exposure and training to progress your career to the next level.
The work will be varied in style, but you can expect a caseload consisting of:
  • Urban regeneration
  • Strategic options
  • Funding arrangements
  • Disposals of services parcels
  • Complex and large-scale land acquisitions from household names across England and Wales
  • Collaboration agreements between developers
We are looking to consider candidates at the 3 – 6 PQE range and are open to candidates with Commercial Development experience who would consider transitioning to residential work.
