We're working with a market-leading FMCG manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join their growing, global team. This is your opportunity to drive new business initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and significantly grow market presence in both UK and international markets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Secure new business with potential clients, exploring new channels and international expansion.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the UK and globally.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Win and nurture relationships with new national accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs and drive long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrate strong account management, negotiation, reporting, and objection-handling skills.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement new business sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Take full P&L ownership and accountability.
  • Employ innovative solutions to deliver value, gross margin, and volume targets for customers.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights.Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Support the wider sales team and contribute to team goals and ambitions by sharing ideas and insights.


Required Experience:


  • At least 3 years of proven experience in the FMCG industry in a sales or account management role. FMCG experience is required to be considered for this role.
  • Experience working with the key Grocery or High-Street UK retailers such as Boots, Tesco, Aldi, M&S or similar.
  • Proven success in delivering new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong team leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel both internationally and nationally as required.


The Package:

  • £80K base salary.
  • £5K Car Allowance.
  • 20% Annual Bonus.
