Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Online Chess Tutor. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of chess principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
  • Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning goals and abilities.
  • Teach fundamental chess concepts, including rules, strategies, tactics, openings, middle-game principles, and endgame techniques.
  • Analyze games and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding of the game.
  • Conduct interactive chess sessions using online platforms or chess software.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in chess, with a strong understanding of chess principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Previous experience teaching or tutoring chess, either online or in-person, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and understandably.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to online chess platforms or software for conducting lessons.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans to keep students motivated and focused.
  • Flexibility in scheduling lessons to accommodate students' availability, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
