Our client is a hugely impressive special situations investment manager which is looking to add a Fund Accountant into their London office. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work closely alongside the CFO and seniors within the business, working across fund performance metrics, drawdowns and distributions as well as leading the relationships with external service providers and gaining exposure across various fund structures. This is an excellent chance to work across a significant breadth of responsibilities and sit within a lean finance function, with excellent opportunity to progress. What the job involves
- Oversight of external service providers, key relationship focus with Luxembourg based fund administration services
- Exposure to various fund structures and treasury management
- Oversight of all financial reporting for entities across the group
- Preparation of quarterly investor reporting and portfolio monitoring
- Preparation and analysis of portfolio and fund performance metrics
- Oversight of drawdown and distribution process
- Process optimisation
- Support CFO on ad-hoc projects
- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- Financial services experience would be desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Happy to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Engaging personalist: able to interact with a broad range of service providers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
