The Client


Our client is a boutique and growing Hedge Fund with ambitious growth plans.


The Role


The Fund Accountant Manager will have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar financial role.

The Fund Accountant Manager will be responsible for managing Audit processes and communications and filings with the Cayman Islands regulator.

The Fund Accountant Manager is expected to review financial statements and if regulated review and co-ordinate PF’PQR filings.

The Fund Accountant Manager will confidently oversee fund NAV calculation process including Fund Budget preparation and review of external real estate valuation, as well as review and approve Valuation Policy.

The Fund Accountant Manager will oversee FATCA, CRS reporting and K1 preparation.

The Fund Accountant Manager is to organise Fund Board meetings, manage communications with Investors and Assist with KYC requirements of counterparties.

The Fund Accountant Manager will prepare all internal subscription and redemption documents and oversee quarterly management accounting and annual financial statements.

The Fund Accountant Manager will take ownership of the preparation of tax reporting schedules, ICARA and meeting minutes.


The Candidate

10 years of experience in a similar financial role - Fund Accounting within an Investment Management / Hedge Fund firm

Chartered Accountant or ACCA, CIMA. CFA, CTA, CAIA would also be helpful

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Understanding of advanced accounting regulatory issues and tax planning
