We are currently working in partnership with Local Authority based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Criminal & Prosecutions Lawyer to join the team on a three-month locum basis, with likely extension.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and is offering an hourly rate of £45-£50 via an Umbrella company.
The suitable candidate will be required to handle attended hearings in the West Midlands on a weekly basis.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Handling a varied caseload of Criminal Litigation matters and Prosecutions on behalf of the Council
- Advising in respect of selective and additional licensing schemes and enforcement work
- Conducting advocacy as required in relation to cases involving trading standards, environmental health and licensing matters
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
