As a subject matter expert, you’ll work closely with distributors, fostering customer relationships, streamlining processes, and acting as a brand ambassador for our products and services in this remote role based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification: Identify, evaluate, and close opportunities to supply products and services to accounts in the assigned territory. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on agreements and pricing proposals.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with distributors and customers. Provide sales and technical support, ensuring international sales revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Execute operational models, adhere to budgets, and meet performance requirements of area distributors.
- Sales Monitoring: Monitor pricing, sales volume, and product mix to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Reporting: Track distributor sales against annual revenue goals and generate reports for senior management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant sales experience required.
- Strong preference for candidates with life science industry sales experience and advanced degrees (e.g., scientific Masters or PhD) in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Oncology, or related fields.
- Prior experience training distributers highly preferred, but not required.
