IT recruitment and training company seeking a recruitment manager to join thier London office, working for the Head of Recruitment you will be managing the day to day operation within the recruitment function. The business has thousands of people as a group of companies so they are in a great position to offer team expansion, personal development and promotion.
The Job
- This is a 360 recruitment team hiring IT professionals.
- This is a billing manager role, you will be doing about 80-100k a year so light billing plus team management
- The team currently has 5 people doing Perm and Contract recruitment who have four plus years of recruitment experience.
- You will also manage the government backed bootcamps programme, which brings in revenue, please ask us to discuss this more with you at telephone interview. There are four more junior consultants in this team
- You will set a target for the team with the Head of recruitment in line with growth plans
- You will manage an ongoing marketing and communication strategy to existing clients - engage over 300 live clients and 200 lapsed clients to support Recruitment and Bootcamps delivering their budget
- Lead from the front and create a positive work environment, a fast paced highly motivated unit
- Target the team and lead by example in the acquisition of new clients
- Champion the brand and understand all cross-selling opportunities internally with other revenue generating business areas such as training and apprentice divisions.
- Report on the teams sales performance and KPI's weekly for the leadership team
- Prepare and run training for your team to upskill them
- Run a daily team meeting
The Selling Points
- Supported by the infrastructure of a large business with marketing functions, candidate resourcing teams etc.
- Join a company with strong investment into the recruitment business, they are keen to be a top 5 IT recruitment agency within 5 years and have the infrastructure and capital to make it happen
- The team in place are working to target and have achieved their 23-24 targets
- You will have the capability to expand the team significantly and in doing so develop your own role into a future senior leadership position
- The salary for the role is £45,000 to £55,000 with an additional £20-£30k roughly of OTE
- 37.5 hours a week
- Early Friday finish
- 2 days in the office - Wednesday and Thursdays every week.
- This role would head nicely into Head of Recruitment and then Associate Director
The Requirements
- Billing recruitment experience and at least 2 years experience managing recruiters
- You do not need to have IT recruitment experience for this position, a strong knowledge of contract and perm experience would be beneficial though
- You will have experience developing and managing high performing consultants
- You will be commercial, solutions driven and big on self-development
- It will be important to show that you lead from the front and are picking up clients and filling roles with the team
- You will lead in a supportive way, attending client meetings with consultants, offering guidance and being involved in the team's day to day work to offer assistance as needed
- You will be happy to spend 2 days in the office and have the capability to manage the team remotely for the remaining 3 days.
